The Salt Creek Golf Club, formerly The Aulde Course, is about 30 minutes from downtown San Diego in the Chula Vista area. It was designed by Cary Bickler and John Cook and opened in 2001 as a true links style course with distant views or South Bay and the ocean. It has since gained a reputation as a sometimes tough course with very fast greens and tight fairways.... it's a links course! It is rated at 73.4 with a slope of 135.
